Own a boat? Want to own a boat?

Why should you join the Club if you already own a boat? Why might you join if you plan to buy one in a few years time? One aspect of the Club which is often overlooked is that it's a steep learning curve from 'ultra competent crew' to 'halfway competent skipper'.

One member who took the yachtmaster theory class at the Club and then participated in the September Majorca rally commented on how helpful it was to be surrounded by supportive Club mates when undertaking the challenge of skippering a charter boat for the first time.
