The boat show is over for another year and the Little Ship Club stand offered visitors the chance to join the Club and meet illustrious guest speakers, including president Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, Atlantic rower Sally Kettle, and round the world racer Alex Alley. 

Discount training for new members

New members signing up at the show or within two months, will receive a 50 per cent discount on an RYA or other one-day course they do at the Club, such as Diesel, First Aid or Radar. The discount is valid for two years from the start of membership. More information on membership rates here.

The Club will be promoting some of its special events for 2010 including the cruise to Ireland and regular dinghy sailing opportunities in London during the week.

New members evenings in January and February

There will be three new member evenings on 19 and 26 January and 16 February. These will be combined with the usual Club night so on the 19 January members can here about the adventures of Nathan Whitworth in his attempt to sail his 21 foot Corribee Kudu round Britain; 26 January will be Peter Newbury's talk giving a perspective on 1759, the so-called 'Year of Victories' and 16 February will showcase the Club's skippers and crews scheme.
