Club president Sir Robin Knox-Johnston chaired the AGMOne of the delights of membership of any Club is the chance to attend the AGM, hear what the elected officials have to say and ask pointed questions of them. The Club AGM on 9 March was full to capacity with members eager to hear the outcome of last year's cost-cutting, re-positioning and restructuring exercises.

Little Ship Club welcomes Club Outlook members
We are glad to see you are interested in joining our Club. If you have not already done so please take a look around our website to get a taste of what we offer. There is much more to see in the members’ only area which you will be able to access once you join. We are also very pleased to offer an excellent introductory incentive to join the Little Ship Club.

Club members are a diverse, international group but all share a common passion: a love of the sea and sailing and actively get together on the water for cruising, rallies and racing. These take place mainly on the East and South Coasts of the UK with some members taking part in long-distance cruising to warmer (and colder) waters.
New members are always welcome, the main requirement being an interest in sailing or other types of boating. Non-boating members are welcome too as the Clubhouse location is perfect for those wanting to hold business meetings, socialise and entertain in the City.

The Club offers all the shore-based RYA training courses.

Tuesday night is the Club night when we have a published programme of lectures, talks or slide shows and afterwards a meal is available at a reasonable price. There will always be a new member's officer on duty, do join him or her if you are by yourself, or want advice, they will be only too pleased to speak to you.

There are regular events to join during the season from April to October. Those who don't want to hang up their oilies for the winter can take part in the monthly fast-cruise series from October to March on the Solent.
We do our best to help new members to get on the water by encouraging new members to sign onto the Skippers and Crew register on the member's section of the website, to meet fellows sailors on a Tueday Club night and to help match skippers and crew for weekend sailing and longer rallies

The club hosts an active web site where members can see a complete calendar of club events, read club and sailing news, read accounts of rallies and participate in forums with other sailors. Members can also keep blogs and run their crew communications using the 'groups' facility. There is an active skippers & Crew database and members can keep sailing pages of their own with details of their sailing and/or boat.
Members receive an eBulletin by email every 3-4 weeks with details of new and updated information on the site. The LSC is justly proud of its site and considers it one of the best sailing sites in the UK and a fitting tool for keeping members in touch with the club and with one another however infrequently they can get to the club. -
Membership entitles you to reciprocal membership of clubs around the world.
