East Coast skippers (and Little Ship crew from everywhere) have been invited to join the City Livery Yacht Club annual regatta, taking place on 5-7 July 2013 at Burnham on Crouch.

This annual event is a friendly and sociable weekend, with racing on Saturday afternoon. Race officer is Chris Slatter, immediate past commodore of Royal Burnham YC and Jo Chugg organises the handicaps (she does the handicapping for Cowes Week too).

The weekend starts with a buffet supper at the Crouch Yacht Club on Friday night, racing takes place on Saturday afternoon and there is a race dinner at the Royal Burnham Yacht Club and prize-giving on Saturday night. The after dinner speaker is Clifton Warry from the RNLI. He has served with the RNLI for more than 40 years.

Marina Nicholson, of both Little Ship Club and City Livery Club, is organising the regatta this year.
