Club closed to members Friday 14 December
The Club has been fortunate in gaining two Christmas party bookings on Friday 14 December. These bookings provide much needed commercial income to the Club.

January is looming and with it the London Boat Show where the Club will have a stand.
All day dining at the Club
Breakfasts, an extended bar snack menu and afternoon teas are now available to members and their guests at the Club.
December Fast Cruise Position of Start and Course
For December there will only be one Fast Cruise. The start time is 1100-11.10 and the start line will be in the region of Mother Bank (red lateral) to North Sturbridge (north cardinal) buoys which are towards the eastern end of the Eastern Solent.

November Fast Cruise starting area and course
For November there will be one Fast Cruise which will be a "passage" cruise to Lymington and it will start at 1100 hrs on 17th November. This will be Fast Cruise 3. It will start in the mid eastern Solent, in the Browndown/Ryde Bank area.
Terry Knee
It is with great sadness that we learned this morning of the death of long-standing Club member Terry Knee.
Pipers and boats in Turkey
16 club members and four more friends with six yachts between them, met up in the Gulf of Fethiye at the end of September.
Breadth and quality at English Braids talk
Club Night on 23 October saw the long-awaited visit to the Club by Mr. Julian Tucker, South Coast Marine Manager for English Braids Ltd.
Trafalgar Dinner report
Nearly 90 members and guests gathered in the club for the annual Trafalgar Dinner on Tuesday 16 October. Following a first class dinner of venison, the Commodore proposed the Loyal Toast – seated in traditional Navy fashion – and then introduced our speaker – Admiral Sir James Perowne KBE.
Fast Cruises 1 & 2 Results
The first Fast Cruises of the season were held on the 20th October in strong tides and flukey shifting light winds. Congratulations to all those who managed to beat the conditions and finish to join the Frostbite Rally in Cowes Yacht Haven in time for Iain Muspratt's pontoon party

December Fast Cruise to the Folly
The Fast Cruise to the Folly (and Fancy Dress) is set for the 1st December. Fifty places have been reserved for dinner and so places will be on a first come first served basis.
Fast Cruise to Lymington 17th November 2012
November's Fast Cruise on the 17th November will go to Lymington with dinner arranged at the Mayflower Inn and berthing at Berthon Marina.
Skippers and Crew, what we do
The Skippers and Crew service for Club members aims to help skippers find crew and crew find skippers to sail with. When you're at the Club, find one of the team to help you get sailing (if you're crew) or to get your boat off the pontoon (if you're a skipper).
