RYA Day Skipper Course
Date and time:

This course is available in two formats -
a conventional one-evening-a-week class on Mondays starting in September 2010 and an "accelerated" version of ten Wednesday evenings and all day on five Saturdays starting at the end of January 2011.  The exact dates for both will be announced shortly.

The basic price is £180, which includes the provision of all course materials, the RYA Navigation Handbook and the RYA Weather Handbook.  The "accelerated" version costs £205 including a buffet lunch on each of the Saturdays.

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to chartwork, navigation, meteorology and the basics of seamanship and is invaluable to those who wish to learn how to make a real contribution on board, undertake the Day Skipper practical course and are keen to progress to the Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster qualification.
