The conventional one-evening-a-week class on Mondays starts on 20 September 2010 at a cost of £155.
The "accelerated" version of ten Wednesday evenings and all day on five Saturdays starting on 2 February 2011 at a cost of £180 (including lunch on each of the Saturdays).
NEW FOR 2010 The "fast track" version of five full days from 8-12 November at a price of £235 for members and £310 for non-members (including lunch at the Club table in the restaurant).
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to chartwork, navigation, meteorology and the basics of seamanship and is invaluable to those who wish to learn how to make a real contribution on board, undertake the Day Skipper practical course and are keen to progress to the Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster qualification. All prices include the provision of all course materials.
In addition students will require a course plotter and nautical dividers kit available as an exclusive Little Ship Club package for only £20. Some 2B pencils, an eraser and pencil sharpener are also essential items. The course leader may suggest additional reading material.
