The workshop is spread over three Wednesday evenings - 6th, 13th and 20th October.
Although not an RYA certificated course, the workshop will take you all the way from really basic stuff to running up your own eye splices for mooring warps and lifelines. The subjects covered include -
- choosing types of rope
- basic rope handling
- essential knots
- whipping
- splicing
- care and maintenance
The workshop presentations are supplemented by practical sessions using the contents of the free "bosun's bag". A workshop handbook is also included in the workshop fee of £75 per person.
