Channel Islands summer cruise

The Little Ship Club is planning a return visit to the Channel Islands between 4 and 11 July 2009 before the start of the main holiday season. We aim to retrace our 2005 steps with visits to Alderney, Sark, Herm and Guernsey.

This is planned to be a leisurely cruise and the evening events will be informal. The cruise programme is provisional. To help with planning it will be useful to have an indication of potential participants. At this stage we are not looking for firm commitment just guidance on which yachts may be joining us and the likely numbers of crew involved.

Get snapping

Time to pick up your camera; the 2009 Little Ship Club photographic competition has been announced.

Remember your cards

Members must bring their swipe entry cards to gain entry to the Club premises at Bell Wharf Lane. For security reasons the doors will not be left on the latch – no card, no entry. If you have lost your card, contact the Club office for a replacement.

Also, a reminder that the dress code in the Club is smart casual: no jeans, t-shirts or trainers please, however expensive! The Club also has a ‘no mobile phone’ rule – please don’t make or take phone calls in the Club room.

Buddy up

A Club buddy scheme has been introduced to enable new members to become familiar and comfortable with the Club quickly and easily.
