This is the Club's traditional social event marking the start the new sailing season. This year our pre-dinner guest speaker is Michael Buerk, the well known BBC journalist and news reader.
Michael Buerk is particularly famous for his reporting of the Ethiopian famine in October 1984, which insired the Band Aid Charity. As well as being a distinguished journalist, TV and radio correspondent and presenter, Michael is also a life-long sailor.
