You can take this course in the LSC classroom or online. When you complete the course, you must do the examination.
The examination is subject to a separate payment to the RYA. This is in addition to any classroom or online course fees.
Classroom course
You spend a day at the Club learning the course and at the end take the examination.
Online course
Apply here, and we will send you a coded link to download the course from the RYA site. You can complete this course in your own time. Once you have completed it, book up an examination at the LSC.

Requirements
- a passport sized photograph
- proof of payment of he RYA exam fee (this is done through an online portal direct with RYA - link below)
