Carol Service

The annual Carol Service will be held at the church of St Michael Paternoster Royal

The church is located in College Hill, London EC4R 2RL; this is 150m from the Little Ship Club clubhouse, the other side of Upper Thames Street.

The Mission to Seafarers (originally the Mission to Seamen) was formed 1856 as a charity to support seafarers around the world. The church has served as a headquarters for the work of the Mission.

The carol service will be led by the Club's Honorary Chaplain, Fr Tim Handley SSC. The service will start at 19:00 and will include familiar carols and readings by Club members.  Please be in the church at least 10 minutes beforehand. 

You are encouraged to bring friends and guests and enjoy the last major Club event of 2021.

Covid-19 Requirements: The prevailing Government guidelines will be followed in the church. Wearing a face covering is a matter of personal choice.


Christmas Dinner

A traditional Christmas Dinner will be served in the Club at about 20:30, after the Carol service. A vegetarian option will be available but please state this when booking your ticket.

  • Traditional Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings, roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
  • Vegetarian option: Roasted nut loaf with roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
  • Followed by Christmas Pudding and custard.
