In tribute to HRH Prince Philip

At the Little Ship Club we are honoured to have been associated with HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, as a result of his visit to the Little Ship Club in 1980 as President of the RYA.

His visit was commemorated by this framed photograph and his signature in our visitors' book.  This will be given pride of place in the clubhouse when we reopen.

He will be remembered by sailors with fondness and gratitude for his encouragement and enthusiasm to youngsters all over the world. On Saturday 17th April his body was conveyed to its final resting place in the Royal Vault beneath St George's Chapel, Windsor.
